Blessed Beyond Words...

Isaiah 41: 9-10:
I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Dear Friends and Family,

I have been meaning to write to each of you for some time now! I hope that this post encourages you as Christmas Day draws near! We are enjoying our first Christmas in 3 years without the concern of pending surgeries and we know just how blessed we are! It was a little over 2 years ago when I first received my breast cancer diagnosis. Since then, I have had multiple breast surgeries and a hysterectomy. Fortunately, my last surgery was in October of this year and there are no other ones on the books! Praise God!! Today, I am cancer free and very, very grateful for the gift of life! God poured out so much grace and compassion on me and my family during these past couple of years that allowed us to keep moving forward. God used each one of you to bless us in ways that you may never know. There were lots of prayers when we needed it most and delicious meals when we were too exhausted to cook. Many of you helped to clean our home and gave so much of your time. There were emails, calls, cards, and posts on this blog that gave us courage and reminded us that we were not alone. Our girls were loved and cared for beyond our imagination. Our spare bedroom and office were beautifully remodeled so I had a place to recover. I may never know the depth of each of your sacrificies but God surely does! I hope that you understand that every thought and action you took was incredibly important to my recovery and a blessing to my family!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also praise God for my sweet family!!! Stacy, B, and Alliegator....I love you so much and am blessed to be your wife and mommy!!
In closing, to anyone who stumbles across this amazing blog who is searching for information on breast cancer, BRCA testing, or something else, I hope that you find inspiration from our family's story. More than that though, I hope that you will cry out to Him who created you, who knows the numbers of hairs on your head, who loves you more than all others!
God Bless!!
Kim
